NewsChannel 13 salutes Marine Corps Corporal James Manon of Grand Gorge, with family in Gilboa, Prattsville, and Otsego County.
He served four years of active duty, including a nine-month tour of Middle Eastern ports.
As a kid, he would set up battles from history with his military toy soldiers, planes, and weapons.
