NewsChannel 13 salutes U.S. Navy Seaman Mark O’Brien of Malta.

He served as a signalman in the Vietnam War.

That includes time on the USS Luce guide missile destroyer.

He was stationed in Rhode Island and Jacksonville, Florida.

He also did two tours of the Mediterranean Sea.
