NewsChannel 13 salutes Army PFC Payton Sharby of Pownal, Vt.
The combat engineer left home at 18, turned 19 during training in Missouri, and will celebrate his 20th birthday in September while overseas in South Korea.
He is a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.
