NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Specialist 4th Class Robert Victor Curtiss of Schenectady.
He served during the Berlin Crisis in the early 1960s, and was getting ready to deploy to Germany when he says some degree of peace was made.
He later spent 50 years working for New York State Tax and Finance.
