Amazon may be rethinking its plan for a New York City headquarters.

The Washington Post reports many area politicians oppose it.

Concerns include possible rent hikes and displacement for people in Queens, after a similar trend in Seattle.

They say other states like Tennessee and Virginia have been more welcoming.

Meanwhile, New York’s final approval for the headquarters isn’t expected until 2020. No specific plans have been made to abandon the New York City headquarters so far.

If Amazon does reconsider, it’s unclear what their Plan B would be.
