New Year's Eve brings minimum wage rise in New York state

With New Year's Eve, comes a new minimum wage in New York state.

Starting Monday, workers in the Capital Region get an increase of 70 cents per hour. It's going from $10.40 an hour to $11.10.

Vermont is scheduled to increase their minimum wage from $10.50 to $10.78 an hour.

In Massachusetts, workers will now make at least $12 per hour, a $1 increase this year.
