National Grid is out with its winter pricing forecast.

The company says upstate New York customers will see higher prices for electricity this winter but lower costs for natural gas service.

Based on average usage, customers with natural gas should save 18 percent in energy costs over last winter.

If you use electric heat for your home, expect to pay just under five percent more this winter.

National Grid reminds customers to talk to the company about your heating needs. They have energy saving tips and budget plans to help during the winter months.
