Stewart's closing Voorheesville store

VOORHEESVILLE - The Stewart's in Voorheesville on South Main Street will be shutting its doors. The last day will be Sunday.

The company says they bought property on Maple Avenue in an attempt to relocate the current shop and add gas, but was unable to obtain the necessary approval to move forward with development.

Stewart's blamed the inability to expand its food to go offerings, along with rising costs.
