A Montgomery County man is facing several charges after he allegedly beat another man during a fight, knocking him out.

Deputies were called to a home on Wagner’s Hollow Road in the town of Palatine back on July 6, but they are just now telling NewsChannel 13.

They said 33-year-old Theodore Nichols of Canajoharie punched another man in the face and put him in a chokehold, knocking him out.

Nichols is charged with assault and strangulation.
