Fight leads to charges for Montgomery County man

A Montgomery County man is facing assault and strangulation charges.

Police say they responded to a fight in the town of Palatine last Monday.


Investigators say Theodore Nichols and another man were involved.

Police tell NewsChannel 13 Nichols hit the man several times in the face, then put him in a choke hold, causing him to lose consciousness.
Nichols is due back in court at a later date.
