Hundreds of seniors in Montgomery County got a free meal on Wednesday.
Volunteers joined the sheriff's office to distribute bags of venison.
The venison program happens every year with local hunters dropping off meat to a professional butcher, which is then stored to later be distributed among the community.
Volunteers say the program is always a hit, but the need was even greater this year due to the pandemic.
