Emma Detlefsen is a fourth grader at Berne-Knox-Westerlo Elementary School. She was diagnosed with primary lymphedema at seven months old. She has raised over $15,000 for the Lymphatic Education and Research Network (LE&RN) through lemonade stands and other fundraisers. In 2015, she was named youth ambassador of LE&RN.
