ALBANY - It was a busy morning in downtown Albany on Saturday as thousands of people raced for a cure for breast cancer.
The annual "Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Northeastern New York 5K" took place.
Up to 75 percent of the money raised stays right here in the Capital Region for research and support for those battling breast cancer.
NewsChannel 13 is a proud sponsor of the event. Anchor and health reporter Benita Zahn was the emcee -- and several other members of our news team ran in the race.
