ValleyCats continue annual effort to renovate youth baseball fields

For another year, the Tri-City ValleyCats were heading out across the Capital Region to renovate youth baseball fields on Thursday as part of their "4 in 24" project.

The team and volunteers were at Green Tech Charter School in Albany, Rensselaer Little League, Broadalbin Little League and Brunswick Girls Softball.

The marks the ninth year for the project.

Hear about the excitement from students and staff at Green Tech Charter School, where an old unusable softball field was being transformed into a baseball field they can call home, by watching the video of John Craig's story.
