More than 30 countries were represented, celebrating their culture through food, crafts, and performances.

Organizers say it feels good to see people from all around the world getting along in the face of adversity.

"In the world today, people don't get along many times, there are things against each other,” Said festival Chairman Manoj Ajmera. “Here at the festival we can work together, we can plan everything together and present this to the capital district residents”

Organizers say the festival is like a small-scale United Nations, where all decisions are made jointly between the different countries.

Any ethnic group is welcomed to apply to participate.
