Dozens of motorcycles will depart from the New York State Museum in Albany for the annual 9/11 anniversary ride to New York City on Tuesday morning.

The motorcycles will leave at 7:30 a.m. and will pick up riders along the way.

Hundreds are expected to join for the finish of the ride down in New York City.

Governor Cuomo will speak at the event welcoming the riders at the World Trade Center site.

The ride pays tribute to the strength, courage and heroism of first responders who led recovery efforts following the 9/11 attacks.
