Albany man convicted of kidnapping and rape

ALBANY - A man from Albany has been found guilty of kidnapping and rape.

After a week-long trial, the jury decided that Abdul Trowell brought an unconscious woman to his home on Eagle Street and had sex with her.

Trowell also threatened the victim's friend with a knife and demanded that he leave the apartment.

Trowell faces 30 years in state prison.
