1 person killed in Argyle crash with sheriff's deputy

One person is dead and a Washington County sheriff's deputy has serious injuries after their two cars slammed into each other in Argyle. 

This happened just before 7 a.m. on Route 40.


Troopers say 24-year-old Deputy Cori Winch was on-duty when the head-on crash happened. He was taken to Glens Falls Hospital with serious injuries, but has since been released.

Susan Harrington, 72, was declared dead on scene.
