Dozens of advocates at state Capitol to push for end of life legislation

ALBANY - Dozens of advocates were going to the state Capitol Tuesday, pushing for lawmakers to allow terminally ill patients to end their lives. 

Lawmakers were expected to hear from people whose loved ones died from painful terminal illnesses.

They want the legislature to pass an act that would allow terminally ill patients to request and use medication to help them die.
