Albany County corrections officers deliver food to the community

ALBANY -- Albany County corrections officers are stepping up amid the coronavirus pandemic, to make sure people in their comunity have what they need.

Officers have been putting together packages of food for community members who are unable to go to the store themselves.


The packages also include items such as bleach, toilet paper and baby formula.

On Friday, the officers picked up supplies for a second order.

So far, the packages of food have gone to more than thirty families.
