Pre-game festivities kick off for Albany Empire team

It's championship week for the Albany Empire.

The arena football league championship game is all set for Sunday night and the Empire will have the homefield advantage against the Philadelphia Soul.

Albany Empire is trying to pack the Times Union Center.

They are shooting for a sellout crowd of over 13 thousand fans.

The pre-game hype started Thursday in front of the TU center, when Albany County threw a pep rally for the team.

Albany County executive Dan McCoy, and Times Union General Manager Bob Belber were on hand.

They were also able to showcase the improvements made in the TU center, but the festivities were all about the Empire and Head Coach Rob Keefe.

We'll have highlights from the big game this weekend.
