An arrest has been made in connection to a burglary at a Colonie gun store last year.

Police say 21-year-old Nathan Hennessy of Albany was the one who broke into New York Shooter Supply on Central Avenue in October and stole five handguns.

Hennessy has been in custody since Dec. 12 on unrelated charges. Police say he was identified as a suspect in the days after the gun store burglary, but they couldn't make the arrest until they gathered more evidence.

One of the stolen handguns has been recovered. Police are still trying to track down the other four.
