Albany man accused of possessing child pornography

An Albany man is facing child pornography charges. 

State Police say they arrested 44-year-old Stephen Ronk. Investigators say Ronk was arrested after he was attempting to communicate with an underage girl. 


During the investigation, police say they discovered he was in possession of child pornography. He was arrested Monday. 

Ronk has been charged with disseminating indecent material to minjors, posessing the sexual performance of a child under 17, and promoting the sexual performance of a child.
