Albany man admits to shooting taxi cab driver

A man from Albany now admits he shot and wounded a taxi cab driver.

Thomas Allen pleaded guilty on Thursday to felony assault.

He faces 10 years in state prison followed by five years' probation.

Back in January, Allen was a passenger in a cab and shot the driver near Northern Boulevard and I-90 in Albany.

The driver survived.
