Albany man admits to stealing from New York State Insurance Fund

An Albany man admitted Monday to stealing more than 150,000 dollars from the State Insurance Fund.

Joseph Torre pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He collected 151,000 dollars in workers comp payments while he was working at his company, Unlimited Construction Services, LLC.

Torre also swore under oath that he was not employed, but he was.

He's facing up to five years on probation, and he has to pay the money back.
