ALBANY - An Albany man is hit by gunfire inside his home. Police say it's unclear if he was the target.

Police were called to the 300 block of Second Street around 11:45 Friday night.

The 55-year-old man says he heard what sounded like gunshots, then ended up with an arm injury.

Police say it appears a birdshot went through his front window.

The man was taken to Albany Med and is expected to be okay.

Anyone with information is asked to call Albany police at (518) 462-8039 or submit an anonymous tip to Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
