Albany police identify victim in homicide investigation

Albany police have released the name of the victim in the city’s latest homicide.

They say 39-year-old Charlie Harris was shot several times in the torso on First Street, near Quail Street, early Thursday morning.  Harris later died at Albany Medical Center.


At this time, police have no suspects in custody.

More than 100 people have been shot in the city since the start of the year. There have been 10 homicides.
