Albany Police investigate stabbing on North Pearl and Columbia Streets

Albany -- Police were called to Columbia and North Pearl Streets for reports of an assault around 3:40 Sunday morning. They say the suspect got away before they got to the scene. We are told that two men were involved in an altercation before one man stabbed another man in the torso. Police tell us the victim went to Albany Medical Center with non-fatal injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Albany Police.
