Albany Police Investigating Incident on Dove Street

ALBANY-- Albany police are investigating an incident near Dove and Jay Street Sunday morning at around 9:00am. 

Police arrived on Dove Street after getting calls of a robbery.

The victim told police while she was walking southbound on Dove Street, an unknown male approached her from behind, grabbed her buttocks and pushed her to the ground. 

While on the ground, the suspected attempted to steal her cell phone, but she was able to retrieve it. The suspect fled the scene. No injuries were reported. 

The suspect is said to be a white male, around 22 years-old. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray colored jacket.
