Police investigating Tivoli Street shooting

ALBANY - Albany police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting on Tivoli Street.

At around 1:30 a.m. Albany Memorial Hospital notified Albany police that a man came to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the hand, police said.

The 25-year-old from Troy told them he was shot by an unknown suspect while in the area of Tivoli Street and Broadway, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

Police ask those with more information to call the Albany Police Detective Division at 518-462-8039.
