A police sting in Albany leads to several arrests. Police say it came after several complaints from businesses and community members about prostitution, drugs, and quality of life.

Kanetta Louis, 33, Amber Vogel, 35, Ernest Miller, 47, Jasmine Holcomb, 40, Katherine Brady, 43, and Denise Smith, 54, are all facing prostitution charges. Some face additional drug-related charges.

Jeremy Ackner, 42, is charged with patronizing a prostitute and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Victor Williams, 31, was also arrested in the sting on drug-related charges.

All were due to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Thursday morning.
