Some Albany residents will protest migrant detention camps

ALBANY- Thousands of people across the country will be protesting migrant detention camps on Friday, including here in Albany.    

A candlelit vigil will be held in West Capitol Park. Activists and advocates for will talk about the impact of human detention centers along the southern border.

The rally begins at 7 p.m.    

At 9 p.m., participants here in Albany and around the world will light candles in a silent vigil for those held in U.S. detention centers.
