Albany shootings under investigation

Albany police are investigating two shootings.

They say a man was shot in the arm around 5 p.m. Wednesday at 1st Street and North Manning Boulevard.

The 26-year-old victim was taken to Albany Memorial Hospital. He is expected to be okay.

So far, there are no suspects.

This follows a shooting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at 2nd Street and Judson Street -- about four blocks away. Police say a man was shot in the leg and taken to Albany Medical Center. He is also expected to be okay.

There is no word if the shootings are related.
