Albany changes snow removal rules

Albany residents will want to keep their shovels handy this winter. The city has changed its snow removal rule.

That means all property owners or occupants must remove snow from their sidewalk within 24 hours after snow stops falling.

Those who fail to shovel in time will be billed for the cost of removal and fined.
