ALBANY - If you've ever wondered what 3,200 voices singing together sounds like, listen up.

Children from more than 50 local schools rocked out to Broadway, pop and disco hits at the Times Union Center and it was all made possible through American Young Voices.

Ben Lewis, CEO of Young Voices International tells me that for twenty-two years, the program's mission has been to educate through music, engage students of all abilities and backgrounds and to inspire a love of the arts.

"It's the start of a journey whether they're going to be music makers, music lovers, this will always be something that they remember for the rest of their lives," Lewis said.

And while the parents are busting a move tonight, these kids have been working the hard since January, participating in their choirs and now it's all paying off. I'm told this is like the little league of music- it's all inclusive no matter what your talent is.

"I think it gives them a sense of achievement, self belief, working as a team with all your friends," Lewis added.

Last year at the Prudential Center, a whopping 6,500 children sang together.

Their young voices singing a familiar tune- that here, anything is possible.

"It's a big deal, and think about the people that have played this arena and those kids can walk out here tonight and say, I've played that place, and you can never take that away from them," Lewis said.

If you would like your school to register for next year's concert, you can find the application at American Young Voices.
