Amsterdam Police investigating shots fired incident

AMSTERDAM – Police in Amsterdam said they’re investigating a shooting that took place at a gas station on Church Street.

Police say it happened just before four on Tuesday evening. Officers that responded to the scene found shell casings in the parking lot of the gas station. Amsterdam Police said they then discovered a car and gas pump got hit by the bullets.

Police said no one was injured in the incident. They said the incident appears to have started during an argument among people at the gas station.

Anyone that has information in the shooting is asked to call Amsterdam Police.
