Schenectady Amtrak station reopens after construction

SCHENECTADY - The new Schenectady Amtrak station is now open again.

A ceremony was held Wednesday morning.

Construction on the station began earlier this year with the demolition of the former station.

Governor Cuomo has touted the new train station as evidence of revitalization happening everywhere in upstate New York.

Passengers had to use a temporary platform while the construction was going on.
