Traffic stop leads to multiple charges in Albany

ALBANY - An Albany man is facing several charges after police say he fled a traffic stop.

Anthony Bonaparte, 26, was stopped on I-90 around 10:30 Sunday evening.

He was arrested after a brief chase by car and on foot and faces several charges including reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police say he also had an active felony parole warrant.

A passenger in the car was ticketed for a seatbelt violation.
