Suspect in violent Glens Falls assault turns himself in

GLENS FALLS - The man wanted in connection with a violent assault in Glens Falls has turned himself into police.

Anthony Fitzgerald, 22, is accused of attacking a man in the Elm Street parking lot around 2 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was left fighting for his life with a severe head injury.

Police had been looking for Fitzgerald after he didn’t turn himself in as planned.
