The Cohoes man accused of killing his six-week-old son was back in court on Thursday.

Anthony Ojeda's bail was set at $100,000 as he faces charges of manslaughter and assault.

Investigators say the baby, who is identified as Eli Ojeda-Harmon, ingested meth inside Ojeda's Van Vechten Street apartment.

Making matters worse, police say his father knew what had happened when the boy woke up with trouble breathing, but did not call for help.

The child was eventually taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

While setting the $100,000 bail, the judge expressed frustration over the fact that next month, Ojeda would be allowed to walk free because of the new bail reform laws.

Ojeda is due back in court on Monday.
