Army Sergeant with Hudson Falls ties returns home from deployment

COLONIE - It was a happy homecoming on Wednesday at Albany International Airport.

NewsChannel 13 was there as Army Sergeant Michael Walkup returned from his deployment.

He's a Hudson Falls-native who serves in the Virginia National Guard.

He was met by his 2 and 4-year-old sons who hadn't seen him since last year.

Walkup served two deployments in Iraq and was stationed north of Baghdad.
