Arrest made in connection to 13 burglaries

NORTH GREENBUSH - Police in North Greenbush make an arrest in connection with 13 commercial burglaries throughout the Capital Region.

After a months-long investigation into two burglaries, North Greenbush police arrested 43-year-old William Hoffay, of Sand Lake.

Hoffay is facing charges for burglaries in April at Healthy Pet Center and Garlic Lover's Corner, both located in North Greenbush.

Police determined that Hoffay also matched the description of several other burglaries throughout the Capital Region.

In total, police say Hoffay is facing charges for 13 commercial burglaries over the past few months, with additional burglaries being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police. Hoffay is in custody at the Rensselaer County Jail.
