TROY - More than 30 college students volunteered to clean up Troy's Prospect Park.
The local students from the ASEZ volunteer program - which stands for "Save the Earth from A to Z" - upgraded the park by cleaning, removing graffiti, and renovating the memorial in commemoration of Memorial Day.
The volunteers believe that cleaning the park could help cut down the amount of crime in the city.
The students came from RPI, Russell Sage, UAlbany, Hudson Valley, and the College of Saint Rose.
