NewsChannel 13 obtained an exclusive video from a woman in Greene County, where she found a baby outside her home on Sunday.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. on Willowbrook Farm Road in Athens.

Kara Wager found the boy standing at her doorstep.

“Standing in front of me, as I looked down, is this young boy. He’s wearing red footed pajamas. He was caked in mud,” said Wager.

Wager says based on how cold the little boy was, she believes he could have been outside for a while.

“I gathered him in my arms, I brought him in the house,” she said.

Wager called 911, and first responders evaluated the approximately 18-month-old.

The family says their property is a short distance away from a 60-foot drop onto Buttermilk Falls Road.

Wager says she believes the boy ended up on their doorstep by divine intervention.

State police say they are investigating the case.
