Kitten found covered in tar in Greene County

A three-week-old kitten is recovering from a very sticky situation.

The cat was found in an Athens driveway on Thursday covered in tar. It was crying and unable to move.

The cat is now being cleaned and treated with fluids and a heating pad at Animalkind in Hudson. It's expected to be okay.

Right now, it's believed this was an accident.

The shelter has decided to name the cat, "Lucky."
