Bakeries handle last-minute Thanksgiving frenzy

TROY – It's a race against the clock to make sure everyone has the last-minute desserts for their Thanksgiving feast.

Bella Napoli Bakery in Troy had 50 people waiting outside the doors when they opened at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

The most popular last-minute items are pies and rolls.

The bakery was staying open until 10 p.m. on Wednesday. For those people waiting until the very last minute, they will be open again from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
