Schenectady benefit concert to help families of Schoharie crash victims

SCHENECTADY - A benefit on Sunday will help the families and first responders of the deadly limousine crash in Schoharie.

The "Healing Schoharie" concert is being held at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady. It begins at noon with a special performance from Union College's three a cappella groups.

Then local musical favorites Skeeter Creek and Grand Central Station take the stage to headline the concert.

The benefit will also feature food vendors and a raffle of items donated by local businesses.

All proceeds from ticket sales and the raffle go to families of the victims and first responders.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.

Kids 12 and under are free.
