Bennington seeks to revitalize downtown area

Some very old buildings in Bennington, Vermont are part of a big project to revitalize the area.    

It’s in the city's Putnam Block area. It’s a 31 million dollar project.    


Phase one will transform three buildings at the four corners in downtown Bennington into “a vibrant urban hub."    

When phase one done, the Putnam block will include 78,000 square feet of renovated space and 30 new apartments.
