Berkshire County family says bear may have killed their horse

There's a warning from a family in the Berkshires to secure pets and animals after their horse was killed.

The animal was found dead on Friday.

The family thinks a black bear may be responsible, but coyotes were also seen in the area, eating the carcass.

The family is advising people to bring bird feeders and other food sources to discourage bear visits.

Massachusetts Environmental Police are investigating the incident.
