Berkshire County rescuers save woman after falling 75 feet off cliff

BERKSHIRE COUNTY - A stunning rescue was made after officials say a hiker plunged 75 feet of Squaw Peak at Monument Mountain. 

Great Barrington Police confirm dozens of rescuers raced to the scene to help the woman. A rope team and fire departments assisted as well.

When they reached her, the victim was in critical condition. She was semi-conscious, but luckily, was talking by the time first responders made it to the bottom. 

The woman was airlifted to Albany Medical Center where she is being treated.
